A-I Toolkit – Discovery Driven Planning

Discovery Driven Planning is a practice and set of processes designed to maintain agility during the Invention Loop.
Discovery Driven Planning is described in detail in the book, The Entrepreneur Mindset, by Rita Gunthor McGrath and Ian MacMillan.
1. Develop a reverse Income Statement based upon a new solution.
2. Identify the operating specifications, activities, and targets.
3. Document and track all assumptions.
4. Test assumptions at planned milestones.
5. Revise the Income Statement.
6. Determine desirability, feasibility and viability of the new solution.
